Hand signed, 5"x5" limited edition fine art print - non framed or framed
Thank you for looking!
The sale of these prints helps offset the costs of “Consumed.” Five years in the making, “Consumed” is a large-scale installation for which I have solely used my family’s post-consumer plastic waste as source material to address issues of environmental responsibility.
To make the prints, I clean, carve, and shape discarded plastic. I then look for new ways of seeing by backlighting or spotlighting the form for the photograph. I often catch the object in motion as it seeks to reshape itself after I have manipulated it beyond its original capacity. The prints, therefore, do not also exist as sculptures.
I love working with this material. It's colorful, it connects with viewers, and it makes a powerful statement.
I often donate a portion of the proceeds to environmental organizations. Listed here are small, signed, limited-edition prints. Should you want one in a large size, reach out. We can do that!
